Mother’s Day on Long Island

While moms should be honored every day, why not spoil them a bit extra this Mother’s Day!

And as a bonus, a number of places are offering freebies in honor of mom:

For the adventurous mom…
Visit the Long Island Adventure Park in Wheatley Heights for an afternoon of zip lining! Moms can go for FREE, with a paid climber, just use MOMS19 at online checkout.

For the wine loving mom…
Pindar Vineyards out in Peconic is giving moms a free stemless wine glass and chocolates with any purchase! And Sannino Vineyard (also in Peconic) is hosting a Mother’s Day Chocolate Fondue event — $30 per person, includes chocolate fondue plate and a glass of Sannino Rose.

For the animal loving mom…
Bring mom to White Post Farms in Melville for free admission to their petting zoo this Sunday or further out east to the Long Island Aquarium for free entry (with a child’s admission).

For the artsy mom…
The Hecksher Museum of Art in Huntington is offering moms free admission and Paint a Piece Pottery in Commack has a Mother’s Day light brunch (bagels, muffins, etc.) to go along with their crafts. Reservations are required, learn more here»
