Here are some of the best spots on Long Island that you should add to your fall bucket list:

Apple Picking

There's nothing like picking your own apples fresh from the tree! It's a great activity for families all over the island to participate in. Harbes Family Farm has apple picking and more, as their fall events also include pumpkin picking, corn mazes, spooky night mazes, and their fall hayride.

Wine Tasting

Long Island's wine country is one that can't be beaten. These family-owned vineyards have open areas to enjoy the fall weather, and as the leaves begin to turn beautiful colors, it makes for some great photo ops! Not only that but they're bound to have seasonal flavors and ciders that will have you feeling the full embrace of the season.

From haunted houses to ghost tours, you'll get your Halloween fill until the day finally comes.
