Here's Everything You Need to Know About The Suffolk Deadline

Want to save money? Suffolk County — your deadline is coming up! About 19 days remain until you need to have your Suffolk County grievance application into our office by 10 AM. If you’re wondering why you should file for a grievance in the first place, then you should know this is one of your best opportunities to lower your property taxes.

The Grievance Process

Once you submit your signed application, you’ll receive confirmation from us here at P.T.R.C., Inc. that we got your application within the deadline and that you’re eligible to file the grievance application.

From there, P.T.R.C., Inc. will represent you before the Board of Assessment Review (B.A.R.) in Suffolk County. Based on their decision, the reduction will either be accepted, or we will proceed to the Small Claims Assessment Review. This is where we will represent you and do everything to ensure we succeed in getting you a reduction.

All you need to do is apply. We’ll handle the rest.
