Father’s Day weekend is here! Treat dad right this year and take him out somewhere special!  There are plenty of places to take dad this year. We've got a few top picks for you!  From restaurant specials to live entertainment, to holiday crafts for the kids, Long Island offers a number of different ways to spend the weekend with your father. 

Saturday, June 15, 2013
  • Free concert at Planting Fields Arboretum – Latham Road Band is performing at 1395 Planting Fields Road, Oyster Bay, NY.  There is no parking fee and the concert will go on rain or shine at the Coe Hall Mansion at 6 p.m.  Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy an outdoor picnic and live music including 80s, Top 40, oldies and classic rock.

Father’s Day June 16, 2013
  • Mirabelle Tavern – Treat dad to dinner at the Mirabelle Tavern, Three Village Inn, 150 Main St, Stony Brook, NY.  On Father’s Day there will be a three-course prix fixe menu.  The cost is $32 per person plus tax and gratuity.  For reservations call (631) 751-0555
  • Graceful Rose – Celebrate father’s day at Graceful Rose, 154 West Broadway, Port Jefferson, NY, (631) 509-1792.  Starting at 3p.m., the restaurant will serve barbecue-inspired specials along with the regular a la carte menu.
  • Rowdy Hall – 10 Main St. in the Parrish Mews, East Hampton, NY (631) 324-8555.  Will offer Father’s Day Special, which includes a Rowdy Burger or Turkey Burger and a mug of beer for $17.50 (includes the mug.)
  • Navy Beach – 16 Navy Rd, Montauk, NY (631) 668-6868, will give dads a complimentary Bloody Mary or Budweiser beer with their meal during lunch, beginning at noon.
