Fall | Long Island | P.T.R.C. Inc.
There's certainly something special about every season that makes it great, but we can't help but get super excited about fall - from apple picking to pumpkin picking, Halloween and more, there's just so much to do, especially right here on Long Island.

If you're looking for some things to do with your friends and family this season, we've got you covered. With help from LongIsland.com, here are some of the top fall attractions to check out around town:

F&W Schmitt's Family Farm
Located in Melville, F&W Schmitt's Family Farm has it all - hay rides, farm animals, pumpkin picking, a corn maze, you name it. The farm and the pumpkin stand are open seven days a week, so pick a day that's most convenient for you and head on over to experience what fall on Long Island is all about!

Fire Island Lighthouse
Check out one of Long Island's greatest landmarks and enjoy the beautiful scenery that comes with it! Some even believe that the lighthouse is haunted by a caretaker, which makes it the perfect hotspot for fall and Halloween fun. On Saturday, October 22nd, there will even be a "ghost stories" event at 7 PM, and it's free!

Harbes Family Farm
With three awesome locations - one in Mattituck, one in Jamesport and one in Riverhead - Harbes Family Farm offers everything from pumpkin picking to hayrides, wine tasting, corn mazes and more (activities vary by farm). Although no more apples remain for the 2016 season, there's plenty to keep you and your family busy throughout the rest of fall!

Bayville Scream Park
Make your Halloween celebration as spook-tacular as possible by visiting Long Island's Halloween Theme Park - Bayville Scream Park! With six different haunted attractions (one is all new for 2016!), this destination will have you shrilling and shrieking all night long!

Old Bethpage Village Restoration
Travel back in time and learn what life was like on Long Island back in the 19th century when you visit the Old Bethpage Village Restoration! Beautiful and scenic during the day, on select nights until October 30th the village will be hosting "haunted tales and trails" - perfect for the fall and Halloween season!
