property tax reductions- filing a grievance

Now that we are getting more serious about 2017, it is time to start saving. You can try and sacrifice to reduce cable and heating bills, but there is really only one way to save BIG! Do you want to know what that is? It's filing a tax grievance with Property Tax Reduction Consultants. We have had success in the past and we would love to help you lower your property taxes in the upcoming year. Here's how it works:

The Benefits
P.T.R.C. Inc. has been in business for over 25 years and we have helped thousands of Long Islanders over the past quarter century-- 230,000 to be exact. That equates to millions of dollars in reductions and the best part is; we only get paid if you pay less! There is no fee for failed cases and there is no harm in filing a grievance. You can fill out an application on our website today!
How To Get Started
Filing a grievance is easy and as we said before, it is free! Just refer to the following steps:
  • Submit your signed application online and wait for a confirmation from us.
  • If you live in Suffolk County, we will represent you in front of the Board of Assessment Review (BAR), or the Assessment Review Commission (ARC) for Nassau County residents.
  • If the reduction doesn't come right away, we will take the grievance to the Small Claims Assessment Review (SCAR). We have been VERY successful during this stage.
  • We will take care of everything for you, the paperwork, the phone calls and any other road blocks that may arise. If we are successful, you'll receive a deduction on your taxes or you will receive a refund check. Either way, you save!
When To Submit
The time to submit is right now! The deadlines for Nassau and Suffolk county are fast approaching and you don't want to miss out on this opportunity. Filing season for Nassau County runs from January 1st-March 1st and Suffolk County follows from May 1st- May 16th.

If you're ready to get started, visit our website to access the Nassau and Suffolk County applications. Should you have any questions, feel free to contact us by calling 516/631-484-0654 or send an email to info@ptrc.com.
