Your Grievance Deadline is Approaching!

Whether you live in Nassau or Suffolk County, your grievance deadline is around the corner — have you submitted your application yet? The Nassau County deadline is April 30th, while those in Suffolk County have until May 21st. Either way, don’t miss out on your chance to submit your complaint!

Here are a few things to remember:

Filing means you can pay lower property taxes.

The whole point of filing a grievance is to lower the amount of property taxes you pay each year. If you are granted a reduction, you’ll get to pay the lower assessed value on your property, and may even get a refund if you overpay.

You have nothing to lose by filing!

We won't charge you anything if you don’t receive a deduction after you file a property tax grievance. When it’s as risk-free as that, we can’t see any reason why you wouldn’t want to file!

We handle everything for you.

Once you fill out the application on our website, we will submit your claim and represent you to the Nassau County Assessment Review Commission (ARC) or the Suffolk County Board of Assessment Review (BAR). If we like the decision the Board makes, we will accept it. If not, we’ll head to Small Claims Assessment Review (SCAR).

We have a strong history of winning cases in SCAR, and we handle everything from purchasing your index number (after a $30 fee) to appearing on your behalf and presenting the necessary evidence.
